I have always been fascinated by the thrills and spills of horse racing.
As a child I had a keen interest in horses and it was my childhood dream to be a Jockey. I spent many weekends in my youth travelling the country attending point to point meetings with my uncles.
I'm a regular race goer and attend race meetings as often as possible. I ride out regularly and love hunting. In 2013 I rode in the Punchestown Charity race and helped raise funds for kidney research.
I ride out regularly in Pat Martin's yard and would like to thank Pat for allowing me to use his fantastic facilities and to all his staff for their help & advice etc.
I'm an avid sportsman, however, horse racing & GAA are nearest to my heart.
The Corinthian Challenge will enable me, not only to ride in one race but three races at three of Ireland's best racecourses. Navan, my local course being one of them. I spent many mornings/evenings jogging around it during pre-season training when I played GAA.
The Irish Injured Jockeys is a fantastic charity and I am delighted & honoured to support them by raising money as part of my participation in the Corinthian Challenge 2018.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
